2014 Ford Focus Automatic Transmission

I bought a new 2014 focus in Jan 2014 and within the last 5000 miles I have had 3 clutch's replaced because of their fail six speed automatic transmission. The car only has 16000 miles on it. It took me almost 3 months for them to get the parts in because of the back orders. Going to file a lemon law complaint and hopefully get some of my money back. They keep telling me that it should not happen again but it does. Starts idling rough, the it start shuddering bad even in reverse. Worst thing I did was buy this car.

I am having the same issue. I am at 3 months waiting.

Mine is a 2012. I have called ford and got a case number. I was told that it was being taken care of. They would call me the next day.

3 weeks have gone by and nothing. Not a one of them has helped or kept their word. I haven't even asked for money just to fix the *** thing. They have now lost 3 customers.

Between me, my parents and my brother we have bought 9 new fords over the years. There will not be a 10th!

Oil change service

I travel a lot in my F150, all over the country, so I found myself in Colonial Heights, VA and needed an oil change, I went to the local dealer. Well they looked at me like I was crazy, said I could make an appointment for mid-week, I'll be on my way to Seattle by then so I had to find the local Walmart with auto service and take it there. Very, very disappointed. I don't think they could have cared less, like I was bothering them. That's Crossroads Ford Prince George, 4500 Whitehill Blvd Prince George, VA.

Transmission problems Ford knows about.

My Ford Focus SE has had problems twice now with the automatic transmission. I have had the car approximately a year and five months. The car was purchased in September of 2014. This is the first time the service center has told me that the transmission is an engineering mistake by ford motor company. I hope ford motor company would step up to the plate an tell their customers we will fix our mistake and quit dodging the problem. Your actions may influence my future car purchases.

Ford F-250 Power Mirror Issue

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The Drivers side power mirror on my F-250 won't fold in took it to the dealer who needed pictures to send to imaging which stated there were two marks on the mirror and refused to fix it. Since I have called customer service three times and had the dealer appeal to Ford twice for repair authorization under the warranty and each time they have denied. Asked for a supervisor to call me no dice and the dealer has pretty much left it as an oh well. Dealer has over 13 pictures of the mirror.

2004 ford explorer glass hatch hinge snapping

2004 ford explorer glass hatch hinge snapping
2004 ford explorer glass hatch hinge snapping - Image 2

ALL FORDS manufactured early to mid 2000s have the same type of door, glass opens independently from entire rear hatch framing. Opened the window one day and as it opened the hinge that attaches the glass to the entire frame snapped, gashing me in the forehead.

The hydraulic lift arms did not support the glass when this happened. Examined the hinge itself only to find that it rusted from outer though the hold to the inner connector. Contacted Ford, nothing ever returned from my email. If you go online you can find MANY Fords with the same issue.

Besides the Cracked Tailgate around the rear Ford Logo, the entire door system in my opinion is faulty. As you can see here the hinge is cracked above and there is the lower crack as well.

Your complaining about a car that is over 10 years old, they haven't responded because they have obviously changed the design. And they aren't responsible for your lack of rust precention

Ford - Warranty Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have a 2011 Ford F-150 FX4 SuperCrew. I to have had a rust issue that I contacted FMC about and they put me back in contact with the dealer who stated again they can do nothing. I purchased my truck approximately 4 years ago to the day. I have 77,000 miles all put on my vehicle by me. The issue started over a year ago and I was told the same no perforation no warranty repair! I don't understand their policy. These trucks are not cheap at over $45,000. I live in the Northeast, New Jersey to be exact. And our winters are horrible. So this issue will only continue to get worse and cost me thousands to repair. I wonder what Toyota or Chevy does for their customers who pay this much for their FLAGSHIP TRUCKS!! I can guarantee this will be my last FORD vehicle purchased with such poor workmanship!

2014 Ford Mustang Review from Cape Coral, Florida

As you are aware certain mustangs are equipped with air bags that can explode and kill. This evening the news stated that "ford says is taking care of this problem and making sure we are protected". So, what have youdone? I received a recall notice for my 2014 6cyl. Mustang in August and am still waiting. Now i have decided to trade it and, Surpri se, surprise, it is worth $11,000 because of the air bag situation. This vehicle has 13000 miles and now I am stuck with a possible killing machine. So tell me, what have you done to protect me? What are my options? I h a v e been a Ford owner for m ore than twenty years and if i have to sell this vehicle for the insulting price of $11,000 it will not be for another f o rd. This is m y seco n d letter to ford and i would appreciate an answer.

B.S.

Here the deal.

First of all you bought a V6 Mustang. Granted, I see a lot of them our there but I shake my head every time I see one.

Want a Stang? Get a V8, don't be a cheapskate.

Secondly, you got a trade in number from a dealer.

What else do you expect from a dealer other than to rip you off? Find another dealer.

2015 Ford Mustang Gt Premium Review from San Jose, California

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I purchased a brand new 2015 Ford Mustang GT Premium from Future Ford of Sacramento on Aug 23, 201* (150 miles away from my house). VIN: 1fa6p8cf1f535**** While driving back home I noticed two issues: - super annoying rattle/buzzing sound coming from the headlight switch - car floated/drifted on a freeway a lot I scheduled an appointment with Salinas Ford on Aug 27 at 9.00AM. The service manager took the car for a small test drive and confirmed it drifted to the right. He suggested rotating tires first. After waiting for an hour or so in the lounge, the service adviser told me I had to wait for at least four hours before they can rotate my tires, as all techs were busy. I got really frustrated and declined to wait, as I had the appointment and called Future Ford of Sacramento and scheduled a new appointment. I drove 150 miles again, left the car at the dealership and picked up a rental car. The car spent 5 days at the dealership: they did not find (did not check) the alignment issues and they did not hear the rattle. I picked up the car, drove back 150 miles and did the alignment at a local shop for $75. The alignment was bad (I have the print out). I called Future Ford of Sacramento and told the the car had the bad wheel alignment and asked to reimburse $75 I spent to do the warranty repair. Their answer was "It's fantastic you fixed this issue!". I've never heard back from them. 2. The rattle became really unbearable and I noticed new issues: - the hood was shaking/lifting a lot at freeway speeds - the hood was out of alignment (the gap on the right side was at least two times bigger than the one on the left) - the trunk lid was not aligned well - the inside panel of the trunk lid rubbed the black plastic panel inside the trunk - driver's door was not aligned (much lower than the rear fender) - the steering wheel "sticks"/"freezes" in left hand turns (30-50MPH), which is really scary I scheduled an appointment with a local dealership: Frontier Ford in Santa Clara, CA. I dropped the car on Sep 8th at 9.45AM. The dealership did not offer a loaner/rental car, while I told them that I did not have any other means of transportation at that moment. The service adviser (Tayo) promised me to call me with an update by 4pm that day and to ask Ford for a rental car. I did not get a call from him and rented a car myself. He called on Sep 9th around 3pm and told me that they did not have time to look at the car yet (I had an appointment on Sep 8th at 9.45am). He told me he did not ask Ford for a rental car. He promised to return the car by 5pm. I did not hear back from him that day. I left multiple voice mails to the service director and finally got a call from Tayo at 2PM on Sep 10th, saying the car was ready. I went to the dealership and Tayo told me they fixed the rattle, but were not able to find/address any other issues. Furthermore he added, that my car was a Ford and I should not expect the quality/fit and finish of a Lexus or a BMW. (!!!) I drove off and the rattle was still there. I am really frustrated with the level/quality of service I received after I bought a brand new Ford for $44K. I regret my decision to buy it almost every time I drive it. I really do not know what to do next or how to address these issues, as I've lost any confidence/faith in a Ford Product and the dealership support.

My 2015 Mustang Eco boost smokes when it idles for more than 2 minutes. Ford says their engineers know about the problem but have no fix.

The say the car is safe to drive just don't idle it for long. I commute on highway 4. So incompetent, rude and unprofessional. Do not buy a Mustang.

Do not buy a Ford unless you like really really bad service.

Get an attorney. Really good lemon law attorneys in the bay area, love the one I use, and I am getting results.

Ford You Disappoint Me

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Ford knows that there F150 eco Boots 2011 3.5 twin turbo has a timing chain problem. My truck and my brothers' truck stop around 100.000 miles. The TSB talks about the timing change stretching and causing costly problems. The dealers want about $3500.00 to fix this problem, and Ford Customer care team only talks to the dealers. I can afford the dealers' prices, so I took mine to AAMCO, good work affordable prices. The parts are $1100.00, please give me the part to help. I work for Ford for 12.6 years, my family works for Ford starting with my Grandfather, father, brothers and wife- we buy Ford products. My name is Kenneth Crutchfield Ford you disappoint me!!!!

2012 Ford Focus

I bought a used Ford Focus in July of 2015, high end titanium edition. It had 51000approx. ,on it .i now found out that my computer system will cost me $1200.00 ,if I can find a part. There is less than 55,000 Klm., on it. Ford said no, now I find out the only way I can get a part for it is going to the junk yards. Ford let me down, no customer help at all, no compassion . Certainly no respect for their customers. Now I have to find the part on my own. Way to go Ford.

$6K and four months at the dealership...

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
For anyone considering buying a Ford pickup, my father's 2011 F-150 has been out of commission at our local Ford dealership for four months. They replaced every single piece they could until they gave up and replaced the entire engine. They're now charging him $6,000 for repairs that he did not authorize, and they can't even tell him what was wrong in the first place, just that after throwing parts at it for four months, it seems to work. This is a four year old FX4 Ecoboost that has been in and out of the dealership numerous times since the initial purchase. Unacceptable. CBC has expressed interest in the story and we're going to take them up on their offer.
