Not resolved

I also have a Ford 500 with a serious rear brake issue. When ever the car sits for 3 or more days the rear brakes grind and deposit dust all over the rear wheels. I took the car back to the Ford Dealer 3 times only to be told don't worry about it the brakes are seating.

I read over a customer with a similar problem on this site. So I emailed Ford Customer Care.....their answer was "Ford does not warranty the brakes, but we understand there is an issue with the brakes, there is no recall, but as a customer service we offer to replace the brakes and or rotors once the pads get down to 2mm, under the following conditions it is within the first 36 months of ownership, and the vehicle has less than 36000 miles on it" The bottom line is I buy a new car so I don't have to worry about it breaking down, it is only a matter of time until this one blows on a scale of 1 to 10 10 being great Ford gets a 1 on reliability and a minus -10 on caring about their customers safety.
