Our 2004 F150 Lariat 5.4 Triton dropped a valve and broke a piston.
It was only 2.5 years old had 80K road miles and was impeccably maintained every 3,000 miles. ( We had the complete Jiffly Lube Logs)
We put over 170K on our last F150 Lariat 5.4, so expected the same or more from the current vehicle.
Ford told me to pound sand and would not even consider splitting the $7.5K repair cost for a new engine. ( touted as a 100K min. engine.)
This is after purchasing 4 Ford units in the last 12 years.
Goodbye Ford hello Toyota Tundra for our next business vechile.
I'm going to send them a picture standing next to our new Tundra.
