It's the worst shifting car I have ever owned. I have taken it in for warrantee repairs three time for the exact same problems.

The first two times the shop made repairs that lasted a month or two. The last time I took the car in I was told there was nothing wrong and they can't fix perfection. I responded that if it were such a great car they should buy it from me. They gave me a toll free number which I called and was basically told that this was how they could give me the 40 miles per gallon fuel efficiency.

Well the car never did provide 40 miles per gallon, 30 tops, and the transmission is still unacceptable. The dealer wasn't interested in buy the car back period. I took it to my Chevy dealer and asked them to make me an offer, no trade.

I was offered 1/2 of what I paid for the car a year and a half ago. I took it and will never do business with FORD again.
