I've been a loyal ford owner since 1980 and dropped them like a hot rock last year. Every ford that I've owned has been a mechanical nightmare, and I owned Mustang's, Windstar, Expedition, F- 250, F-350, and 2-Rangers.

Everyone a piece of junk, I wanted to buy American and kept up hope that the next would be problem free. Last year my truck with 95,000 miles needed a transmission, $4k later its fixed. Two weeks later, head gasket goes out.

Drive it to Toyota dealership and drive away with a truck that far exceeds what ford could ever put out. I will never buy a ford product again!

Ford (retired) technician since 1981 and never owned the product. In 30 years saw the same areas of failures early in service life, especially suspension / steering components, more specifically ball joints, knuckles and tie rods.

Coil overs, intake gaskets ...

the list is long. Ford not very sympathetic.
