the timing Chain tension broke on my 2006 Mustang with 68,000 mi. Ford will not warranty the problem, I believe that a timing chain assembly should last longer than 68,000 mi.

Ford has the ability to assist in the cost of the repair but they declined the me and dealer, livermore ford. Prior to this problem, the transmission had to be replaced at 40,000 miles. Sounds like a quality issue with the particular vehicle. I had a 2000 Jeep grand Cherokee with 165,000 and never had a problem other than normal maintenance.

This is the last Ford product I'll purchase, buyer beware.

Review about: Ford Warranty.

Sounds more like someone doesn't know how to take care of their car.

Oh wait... We already know it was a 60,000 mile warranty....

Hence the lack of warranty coverage. What seems to be the issue here?

You're just looking to get something for nothing, and frankly you don't deserve anything in this particular case.
