I recently bought a 2012 Ford Edge, 4 days later it would not start. The vehicle would not recognize the key fob. I called the service department to ask if there was a backup or override on the vehicle and they said there was nothing that could be done. I'd have to be towed into the dealership.

The Edge was towed, they worked on it for a day and I went to get it when it was done. Guess what? It wouldn't start. Also, the service advisor said there was an override in the glovebox.

Now they are still working on it and I haven't a clue when it will be done. They offer no feedback. First American car bought in 12 years and this is what I get?

Looks like it's back to the imports for me.
