When my 2003 aviator SUV, s/n 5lmeu78hx3zj37064 starter failed, among other problems, 14 days after 5 year warranty, dealer in Loveland, CO said "my expense", though it was considered unusual. Ford refuses to reimburse me.

That expense was $450. The car had to be towed in. It was a $48,000. error in purchasing one.

Never was I treated like this by imports! No more ford products, and I'll continue to bad mouth them. I plan to drive around the city witha a sign in the window "Don't Buy A Ford Product-I Did!".

Buy an import, they'll respect you and treat you more than fair!

I am going to get the same sign. They cannot replace my electronic trottle body part.

It is truly a safety issue. see my post Ford wants me to sign away rights for loaner...
