Wow, do not know where to start. We purchased a 2015 Ford Edge on February 26 of 2016.
After two days we had a burning smell coming out of the rear passenger side of the vehicle, took it to Grand Ledge Ford and they put a "new exhaust system" on the vehicle. On day three we started seeing white particles and dirt through out the interior of the vehicle. The service associate said we would get a copy of any work order when we were satisfied with what Grand Ledge Ford did with the car. On or about the middle of March I looked under the vehicle and saw that GLF put a used exhaust system in the vehicle.
I told them this was not right. The exhaust system did not look new at all. The service "advisor" stated we would get a new exhaust system by the end of March. All this time, still no paper work.
At the end of March the "New Exhaust System" came in and was installed. All this time, the vehicle kept building up with more white particles and dirt. At this point we called the Ford Customer Care Center. After playing phone tag with them for more than a week, we were told to take the vehicle to another Ford dealer and have them do a comprehensive diagnosis of the vehicle.
It was Candy Ford in Charlotte MI. Candy Ford could not find anything out of the ordinary with the vehicle. Since know one seemed to really know what to do. I told the Ford customer care person we were going to get a lawyer.
She proceeded to give us their address. So Here we are, stuck with a vehicle that has so many things wrong and Ford says there is nothing more they can do.
